Freedom Whale Watch and Charters

Enjoy more time with the Humpback Whales who call into Hervey Bay on their Southern Migration to rest and play between July and October. Hervey Bay is the first Whale Heritage sight in the world and the best place to view whales in Australia as they are not just swimming past. They actually come into the Bay for rest and recreation and are well known for getting up close and personal with the tour boats.

Freedom III is a 17.6m power catamaran with four viewing levels and a water level platform for really close encounters. Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea are included in the 6 hours tour which departs at 9:30 daily. The family owned business is well known for great hospitality, informative commentary and fun and caring crew. There is a courtesy bus available to collect you from local accommodation. Numbers are capped at 46 passengers so there is no fear of crowding.

Freedom III is available for group charters with in Hervey Bay from November to June to celebrate birthdays, small weddings, special milestones or just to get together with friends alongside the western beaches of K’gari (Fraser Island) We can even do skippered overnight charters for up to 8 guests.
